Visit from The Wizard Theatre

On Tuesday afternoon, the Wizard Theatre Company joined us to perform 'The Reluctant Dragon'. It told the story of a gentle, poetry-loving dragon who would rather read and relax than fight. When the townspeople feared him, a young boy helped the dragon and St. George to work out a peaceful solution, proving that kindness and understanding can defeat fear.

What a week!

Year 2 were entertained twice this week! First, on Tuesday we visited Watford Palace Theatre to see a production of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. The show featured singing, dancing, water squirters and lots and lots of beans! Today we made the journey to the Watford Colosseum to see Electric Umbrella. They are a live band that bring together people of all abilities to create and perform joyful songs. They recently appeared on the television show 'Britain's Got Talent'!
