Bug hunt!

 Children learnt that a micro-habitat is a smaller habitat that contains smaller living things. The space underneath a stone or log is an example of a micro-habitat. The children carried out a field investigation into local micro-habitats. They predicted what they might see. After the investigation they drew the insects and plants they observed.
