World Book Day!

Children had great fun celebrating World Book Day, proudly wearing their creative costumes and taking part in a lively parade through the hall. They were also thrilled by a special visit from an author, Aubrey Waddy, write of the Plughole Boy series!

What a week!

Year 2 were entertained twice this week! First, on Tuesday we visited Watford Palace Theatre to see a production of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. The show featured singing, dancing, water squirters and lots and lots of beans! Today we made the journey to the Watford Colosseum to see Electric Umbrella. They are a live band that bring together people of all abilities to create and perform joyful songs. They recently appeared on the television show 'Britain's Got Talent'!
