Music Workshop

 Today Year 2 took part in a ukulele workshop. We began by looking at the parts of the ukulele, the body, the neck, the head, the bridge, sound hole, fret board and tuning pegs.

We then sang and practiced the strumming pattern to 'A Sailor went to Sea, Sea, Sea' and learnt the C chord. We finished by performing 'Land of the silver birch'. We learnt the A minor chord and practiced strumming up and down.
