A visit to the Roald Dahl museum

Year 2 had a fantastic day at the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery in Aylesbury, where we explored exciting interactive exhibits inspired by Roald Dahl’s famous stories. We crawled through Fantastic Mr Fox’s tunnel, investigated minibeasts from James and the Giant Peach, discovered how sound works with the BFG and enjoyed lots of hands-on science activities. In our workshop, we explored the gallery for inspiration and created our own predator glove puppets to take home.

What a week!

Year 2 were entertained twice this week! First, on Tuesday we visited Watford Palace Theatre to see a production of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. The show featured singing, dancing, water squirters and lots and lots of beans! Today we made the journey to the Watford Colosseum to see Electric Umbrella. They are a live band that bring together people of all abilities to create and perform joyful songs. They recently appeared on the television show 'Britain's Got Talent'!
