Code Ninjas visit!

Year 2 had an exciting visit from Code Ninjas this week! They loved exploring the world of coding and learned how to create their very own interactive games using Scratch Junior. The children practised coding simple sprites, making them move, talk, and even record their own voices to bring their creations to life. 

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that sparked lots of creativity and enthusiasm for technology—we may have some future programmers in the making!

What a week!

Year 2 were entertained twice this week! First, on Tuesday we visited Watford Palace Theatre to see a production of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. The show featured singing, dancing, water squirters and lots and lots of beans! Today we made the journey to the Watford Colosseum to see Electric Umbrella. They are a live band that bring together people of all abilities to create and perform joyful songs. They recently appeared on the television show 'Britain's Got Talent'!
